We are pleased to welcome Professor Panče Naumov as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research. Professor Naumov is an internationally renowned expert in solid-state chemistry and materials science. His groundbreaking work includes the development of advanced photo-crystallographic techniques and pioneering studies on thermosalient and photosalient materials—so-called "jumping crystals"—which offer exciting potential for clean energy applications. He has also achieved significant results in luciferin photochemistry and the solid-state chemistry of pharmaceuticals. During his stay in Germany, Professor Naumov continues his research using powder crystallography, hosted by Prof. Dinnebier and the X-Ray Diffraction Group.
