New Perspectives in solid-state and materials research - from fundamentals to applications -

This workshop will highlight recent developments in a wide area of solid-state and materials research, and explore avenues and opportunities for cross-institutional collaboration between physicists, chemists, and materials scientists. The program will cover materials for energy harvesting, transport, and storage; electronic and electro-chemical devices; nanomagnetism and spintronics; and experimental, theoretical, and computational methods. In addition to senior scientists, the program will also include presentations by selected postdocs and graduate students.
