Research Unit FOR5242: Proximity-induced correlation effecs in low dimensional systems
Tailoring the electronic structure of epitaxial graphene on SiC
Our group is part of the research unit FOR5242, which is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, where we want investigate the proximity effect of spin-orbit interaction, electronic correlations as well as local electric fields with 2D electron gas systems using epitaxial graphene on SiC.
By intercalation we want to tune the electronic properties of graphene as well as to control the electronic properties of the intercalant.
