By Car:
- At Autobahnkreuz Stuttgart (the Stuttgart motorway interchange, exit 51, Vaihingen), take the A831, direction «Stuttgart-Mitte».
- Leave at the «Universität» exit.
- At the traffic lights on the bridge, turn left, direction «Universität».
- Follow Universitätsstraße, then turn right into Nobelstraße.
- At the end of Nobelstraße (roundabout), turn right into Büsnauer Straße (first exit).
Public transport:
- From Stuttgart Main Station: Take lines S1, S2 or S3 of the Underground («S-Bahn»), in the direction of «Herrenberg» or «Flughafen». Get off at «Vaihingen».
- From Stuttgart Airport: Take lines S2 or S3 of the Underground («S-Bahn»), directions «Schorndorf» or «Backnang». Get off at «Vaihingen».
- At «Vaihingen» station (here you can also take a taxi) change to bus line 81 (direction «Büsnau») and get off at «Max-Planck-Institute».
